On Friday, more than 20 rescue personnel in Shaanxi Province, northwest China, traversed mountains and rivers on foot to deliver more than 100 kilograms of essential supplies to residents of Liujiazhuang Village.
The locals were left stranded without basic necessities as the road leading to the village was damaged by continuous heavy rainfalls.
