Dramatic footage shows uncontrolled fire Brigade tanker overturns on a scooty rider


Vadodara: An accident occurred on Dabhoi Road in the city on Friday when a Fire Brigade water tanker overturned in the middle of the road. The tanker also collided with a scooter. Fortunately, the female scooter rider narrowly escaped injury. The tanker driver and a sub-officer had departed from Gajrawadi together. The accident happened while they were making a turn near Ganeshnagar on Dabhoi Road. CCTV footage of the incident shows the tanker overturning at high speed, with the driver exiting the vehicle. The tanker driver, Krishna Patel, fled the scene. In response, the furious crowd detained Sub Fire Officer Jasmin Patel in a nearby shop. After the incident was reported to the local fire station, Fire Officer Amit Chaudhary arrived at the scene. The local police were also notified. Crowds gathered in the area, causing traffic jams, and public anger was directed at the tanker driver. People claimed that the driver was at fault for the tanker overturning while making the turn. Panigat Fire Station Fire Officer Amit Chaudhary stated, “We arrived at the scene after the tanker from Gajrawadi Fire Station had overturned. The entire incident will be investigated. The police team is also on site and conducting an investigation.
