Woman holds out hand to check for rain... but accidentally flags down police
A woman was holding out her hand to check for rain but mistakenly flagged down police who thought she was asking for help.
CCTV footage shows salon owner Dao extending an arm to feel the drops of water at the front of her shop in Rayong province, Thailand, on July 16.
Moments later, a patrol car stopped and called her asking if something was wrong. As it turned out, the cops on duty thought she needed assistance.
Dao was already inside the salon and the diligent policemen peered through the glass to inspect if everything was fine.
She said: ‘I was in the store and it was not visible if it was raining or if the wind was blowing. I went outside to check with my hands.
‘Then the police called me out, I was startled so I went inside immediately.'
The police asked her in the video: ‘What happened? Do you need help?'
Dao explained: ‘At first I thought I had done something wrong because they were rushing to come to me.'
However, when all was cleared out, Dao added she was thankful that their local cops were very attentive.
She said: ‘I am thankful that they pay attention and acted fast when they thought I was in trouble.'
The cops left after that and Dao went back to her shop.
