An adorable pet dog stretched on the floor as she tried to copy her fur mum's yoga poses.

The four-year-old pooch named Cocoa found her owner Jen Feraren, 51, working out in the living room and the supportive canine joined her in Manila, the Philippines on July 28.

Footage shows Cocoa approaching mum Jen on the yoga mat. The pooch wagged her tail and extended her front limbs as the mother did the poses.

Cocoa then laid on the floor with her face touching the tile as Jen stretched her arms.

Fur-mum Jen said: ‘Cocoa enjoyed doing yoga with me. She's an Aspin dog. She's super smart and sweet, which only goes to show that dogs can be trained no matter what breed.'

Dogs don't practice yoga like humans do, but they can enjoy being around their owners during a yoga session. Many dogs find the calming atmosphere of yoga sessions pleasant and may even copy some stretches and poses naturally.
