Toddler with plastic jar stuck on her head is rescued by firemen
A two-year-old girl was rescued by firefighters when her head became stuck in a plastic jar.
Kanisha had taken the container from the kitchen to snack on crackers while watching TV at their home in Central Java, Indonesia.
When only a few were left, she poured the crumbs onto the floor and playfully placed the jar over her head, only to find it would not come off.
Footage shows Kanisha sitting calmly on her mother Ratih's lap as officers used a cutting disc to gently widen the jar's opening.
Despite the loud noise and vibration, the toddler remained composed while Ratih comforted her.
Ratih said: ‘We tried removing it at home for 30 minutes but failed. We decided to take her to the local fire station, which is only walking distance from our home.'
Her parents, hearing her cries for help, walked her to the nearby Temanggung Fire Department.
The mum-of-one added: ‘At first, I thought she was just joking around. She told me the jar was stuck, but was still laughing. Then she started crying.'
Firefighters successfully removed the jar safely in under ten minutes.
Kanisha was unharmed and thanked the team with her family on June 22.
