Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Grenada to China Ian J. Marshall has been impressed by China's people-centered approach, which he thinks is crucial to Chinese modernization and China's sustainable growth.
He made the remarks during an interview with Xinhua on Tuesday while attending a symposium themed on understanding the third plenum of the 20th Communist Party of China (CPC) Central Committee in Beijing.

"It's critical to have that people-centered approach so that you will find a balance to ensure equal growth. That's sustainable. The people-centered approach, I think, is what's most impressive about me. That's the key, the most important aspects of the modernization in my view."
The ambassador also says Grenada and China have a huge potential to enhance cooperation in many fields to grow together and Grenada could learn from China's experience.

"I foresee from many different angles and aspects that were highlighted in the third plenary session (of the 20th Communist Party of China Central Committee) bring developing countries like Grenada to have a better opportunity to collaborate and to cooperate with the People's Republic of China in the areas of development, research, technology, trade, culture, research and development.
So I think it presents a huge potential for developing countries to jointly develop mutual benefits and grow together while benefiting from the experience."
