USA: Crews Uprighting Overturned Big Rig on State Route 14

On August 8, a truck with a crane overturned on State Route 14 near Rosamond, prompting significant traffic disruptions and closures. Caltrans District 9 released footage of the incident, highlighting the large vehicle's mishap as it veered off the road.
Initially, Caltrans District 9 announced the closure of southbound lanes on US14 near Rosamond, with traffic redirected onto the onramp for detours while crews worked to clear the highway.
Later in the day, updates from Caltrans indicated progress in clearing the scene. Southbound traffic was allowed to resume normal flow, no longer being diverted at Avenue A. However, both northbound lanes remained closed as crews continued efforts to upright the overturned big rig.
