Tourists fled in panic as rocks plummeted from a waterfall in central China.

The terrifying moment was filmed in Huixian City in Henan Province on August 10. Several rocks suddenly plummeted from the top of the waterfall, crashing down into the water below and causing massive splashes. Panicked tourists, who had been taking photos in the area, were seen fleeing in all directions.

Eyewitnesses reported that the sudden rockfall created chaos, but fortunately, the falling stones landed within the waterfall area and did not hit the pathway, resulting in no injuries or damage.

By the afternoon, local authorities had taken action, increasing warning signs, deploying enforcement teams to manage the scene, and allowing vehicles to pass slowly without stopping.

A public notice was also issued, urging passers-by and drivers to enhance their safety awareness and avoid lingering near the area.
