Woman survives after car impaled on massive girder
This is the moment villagers in China rescued a woman trapped in a car dangling precariously in mid-air after it veered off the road and was impaled on a large iron frame.
The incident occurred in the Xishuangbanna autonomous prefecture of Yunnan province on Monday, August 12. The vehicle had veered off the road and became suspended on an iron girder.
Unable to escape from inside the car, the woman was quickly assisted by local villagers who mobilised a rescue effort.
They positioned a ladder against the vehicle and, with careful coordination, helped her to safety.
Emergency services arrived on the scene to provide further assistance. The situation was resolved without injuries.
