STORYLINE:
The painted twin pot in central China's Henan Museum is a national first-class cultural relic with a history of over 5,000 years.

Unearthed in 1972 at the Dahe Village Ruins in central China's Henan Province, the artifact has been identified as a drinking vessel from the Yangshao Culture.

The Yangshao Culture dates back between 5,000 and 7,000 years, and originated on the middle reaches of the Yellow River.

The twin pot is a symbol of peace, friendship, and mutual respect, and is believed to have been used in sacred ritual ceremonies for major events such as weddings or tribal alliance ceremonies.
