Sad, Elementary School Children's Learning Atmosphere with Building Roofs Leaking and Nearly Collapsed in Solok Regency, Indonesia

The atmosphere is worrying when the children of State Elementary School (SDN) 13 Kec. Kubung, Kab. Solok, West Sumatra, Indonesia, who is currently taking part in the teaching and learning process in the classroom with the classroom conditions being muddy and leaking, because the roof of the building was badly damaged and almost collapsed on August 27 2024.

When it rains, the atmosphere in the classroom becomes muddy due to being flooded with rainwater. Students also had to be willing to sit crowded together, because study tables and chairs had to be moved back to avoid rain entering the classroom. Until now, no local government or through the Department of Education, Youth and Sports has visited the school location to see what conditions are happening.
The school and the local community are unsure about who to report this to, because they do not want this condition to be exploited by certain parties and used as political consumption ahead of the 2024 regional elections.
