Train performs emergency stop due to man sleeping on tracks in India
A train driver hit the brakes to save a man napping on the tracks.
The operator spotted the local sleeping comfortably on the railway with an open umbrella in Prayagraj, Uttar Pradesh, India, on August 25.
Footage shows the elderly man lying on his side on the gravel with his hand on his cheek. This prompted the conductor to wake him up and ask him to leave the tracks.
After he was awakened, the operation resumed, continuing their trip.
The railway worker said: 'We are glad that we spotted him in time and hit the emergency brake immediately because if not, he might have died.'
