A woman living in Jiangjian, Chongqing Province, managed to fry an egg in the street due to a heatwave.

Footage from August 27 shows the resident cracking an egg into a pan full of oil heated up by temperatures of 40 degrees Celsius.

According to the filmer, it took around seven minutes for the pan to start smoking.

On August 27, 2024, in Jiangjin, Chongqing, in southwestern China, a woman decided to demonstrate the intense heat of her city by frying an egg on the ground using a frying pan.

She poured some oil into the pan and waited for about seven minutes until the pan started smoking, indicating it had reached a high temperature.

Then, she cracked an egg into the hot oil, and in no time, the egg was fully cooked.
