Prawns 'cooked' on way back to shopper's home by heatwave in China
A bag of live prawns purchased by a woman and brought back to her home were partially cooked by the high temperature in central China.
Video filmed in the city of Xinyang in Henan Province on August 13 shows the prawns bought by Ms Fang from a supermarket changing colour to red after she took them back home.
According to Fang, the temperature on that day was 41 degrees Celsius.
The prawns may have changed colour as Fang placed the bag on the ground and on the backseat of her electric scooter.
