STORYLINE:

The 2024 BRICS Excellence Training Program on AI Technology and Governance kicked off on Monday in Xiamen, east China's Fujian Province. 

Thirty attendees from BRICS and BRICS Plus countries will conduct a one-month exchange and study in artificial intelligence (AI) and governance.

The training program is organized by the Xiamen-based BRICS PartNIR innovation center (BPIC). Established in 2020, the center aims at promoting cooperation on policy coordination, personnel training, and project development.
