Mid-Autumn Festival, one of China's most important traditional holidays, falls on Sept. 17 this year.
A group of Australian middle school students visited the China Cultural Center in Sydney on Friday morning to experience making mooncakes, a traditional Chinese delicacy enjoyed during the Mid-Autumn Festival.
Besides trying their hand at making mooncakes, they also learned about the origin of the Mid-Autumn Festival and the heritage of mooncake traditions to gain a deeper understanding of traditional Chinese culture.
