This is the moment a pipe burst, spraying sewage all over a road in China.

Passing motorists experienced the disgusting mishap when the pipeline exploded in the middle of the road, spewing 33ft (10 metres) of manure into the air and across the area in Nanning, Guangxi, on September 24.

Footage shows vehicles stuck in a traffic jam. Moments later, a huge spray of brown liquid dispersed into the air, causing nearby locals to be showered with a mixture of urine and faeces.

The Nanning Emergency Management Bureau said there were no casualties in the accident, but several vehicles were damaged.

Local news reported that the incident was caused by a failed pipeline pressurization test for a newly installed sewage pipe at the site.
