This is the dramatic moment a shopkeeper and customer dodged a ghost wheel that smashed into a coffee shop in Thailand.

The item came loose from a passing vehicle while a motorist was standing at the counter of the roadside stall in Prachinburi on July 31.

CCTV footage shows the wheel hurtling towards them as the owner yelled. She shouted: 'Hey, that's a wheel! Is that a car's wheel?'

The rogue wheel crashed into the store, smashing a signboard and toppling several containers as the pair scrambled to safety.

Nobody was hurt, and the truck driver was seen pulling over to check the damage. He agreed to shoulder the costs.

Rasita said: 'The driver apologised to us before calling his insurance company. He assured me he would cover the repairs.'
