09/30/2024 11:04 pm (GMT-0700) | RIALTO, Calif. – CHP from the Baldwin Park office attempted to pull over a motorcycle for speeding and no license plates eastbound on the 10 Freeway at Indian Hill Boulevard in the city of Claremont. The suspect took off on the motorcycle, reaching speeds of 100 mph. The suspect exited the freeway in the Upland area and got back onto the 210 Freeway eastbound.
The suspect exited Sierra Avenue from the 210 Freeway, where the suspect took off his backpack at the bottom of the exit. CHP had the airship overhead and tracked the pursuit. The suspect crashed in the city of Rialto at the intersection of Miller and Maple avenues. The suspect was taken into custody with assistance from Rancho Cucamonga CHP. The suspect was evaluated by the San Bernardino Fire Department but was not transported.
CHP officers located multiple bricks of drugs along with baggies of drugs. CHP is trying to determine if the drugs are meth or cocaine, or methamphetamine. CHP from the Baldwin Park office is taking over the investigation.
