Minitruck Shatters Into Pieces After Collision With BMW On Otherwise Empty Road

This is the moment when a white minitruck shatters into pieces after a collision with a BMW on an otherwise empty road.
The incident occurred on Krasnoselskoye Highway in St. Petersburg, Russia on 25th September.
The dashcam video shows a Gazelle minitruck coming out from around a corner on the empty road.
At that moment, a BMW car crashes at full speed right into the centre of the minitruck.
As a result of the hit, the body of the truck was completely torn off, and the car itself was turned in the opposite direction and thrown onto the side of the road.
In the comments to the video, users write that the accident could have been avoided if one of the participants had slowed down before the manoeuvre and the other before the pedestrian crossing.
Local media report that both drivers escaped injury.
