Vizianagaram, India - October 04, 2024

In a remarkable incident in southern India's Andhra Pradesh, doctors successfully performed brain surgery on a 65-year-old woman while she remained awake, listening to the soothing songs of SP Balasubrahmanyam.

The incident took place at GMR Care Hospital in Rajam, Vizianagaram district on October 4.

Visuals showed the elderly woman in the operating room, alert and enjoying the music played by nurses, creating a calming atmosphere during the procedure.

According to reports, the patient had been experiencing symptoms of paralysis, leading to the discovery of bleeding in her brain. Given her age and pre-existing health conditions, general anesthesia was considered too risky. Throughout the surgery, the patient listened to melodious tracks, ensuring her comfort. Fortunately, the operation was a success, and the patient is reportedly recovering well.
