A finalist from The Apprentice now spends her time painting renditions of people's homes - and gifts them to its residents.

Flo Edwards, 30, reached the final week of the show this year - and now aiming to launch her own recruitment consultancy.

Flo's roots, however, are in the arts, having graduated with a BA in Fine Arts in 2015.

Feeling the pressure of being in the public eye in a very corporate world over the past year lead Flo back to her love of painting as it gave her time away from the "hecticness"."

She began randomly spotting beautiful houses in London, taking pictures of them and painting them at home.

But she found it "strange" to keep the paintings and began posting them through the letterboxes."

Flo, who is based in Clapham, London, said: "I have always loved art from a young age."

"After the hecticness of this past year, I found painting as a space for relaxation and escapism."

"But I found it strange to be creating these paintings and then leaving them sat in a drawer, so I decided to do something different."

"I'd noticed someone's door on my road which was particularly pretty, so I painted it and dropped it off with them."

"I got such a buzz while posting it that I decided to keep doing the same."

Since starting this project a month ago, Flo has painted six homes with each painting taking about a day to complete.

Flo said: "It takes a good couple of hours to do them so typically when I take my dog Elsie out for walks is when I discover the homes."

"Then go home and paint them in the evenings."

"I usually just post them through the doors without interacting with the people because I don't do this to receive gratitude or compliments."

"But for my most recent piece, I knocked on, and the man was very lovely."

"He just said 'Wow, this is amazing!'."

When Flo decided to continue with this endeavour and opened up the floor for her social media followers

to send their addresses for her to paint their homes.

Flo said: "That first day I asked for contributions I must have received over 100 addresses."

"I thought it would be good to make sure people were open to it."

"Luckily for me, plenty of people were and are!"
