An MH-65 Dolphin helicopter crew, known for their precision and bravery, was dispatched to retrieve a 36-year-old woman who required immediate medical attention.
Upon arriving at the scene, the skilled aircrew expertly maneuvered their helicopter into position, lowering their rescue hoist to safely lift the woman from the precarious location on the jetty. With the woman secured aboard the aircraft, the crew wasted no time in transporting her to the University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston.
Throughout the operation, the woman remained in stable condition, thanks to the rapid response and adept handling by the Coast Guard team. This incident underscores the critical role of the Coast Guard in not only safeguarding maritime environments but also in providing life-saving medical evacuations when every second counts.
