Phoenix, United States - October 07, 2025 10/06/2025 11:40 pm GMT-0700 PHOENIX, Ariz. – Arizona Department of Public Safety troopers (DPS) and Phoenix Fire Department crews responded to reports of a single vehicle rollover collision in the northbound lanes of I-17 near 16th Street. Per DPS, two people were transported to a local trauma center with serious injuries. Two dogs were rescued from the vehicle; both dogs appeared to be uninjured and were secured in the back of a patrol vehicle by troopers at the scene. The collision resulted in a hard closure for the northbound I-17 from the I-10 split near Sky Harbor. DPS Vehicular Crimes Unit detectives responded to the scene and assumed command of the investigation.
