A DIY eccentric turned a toilet cistern into a clear fish tank.
The creative resident had the bizarre idea to use the transparent perspex water container for his pet goldfish at his home in Fujian, China, on October 7.
Footage shows the fish freely swimming in the cistern. The owner then pressed the flush on top to flush button on top of the tank to empty the water.
A valve across the pipe prevented the fish from being sucked into the loo and none were harmed. However, animal rights groups such as PETA are likely to have issues with the health and safety of the fish.
