The incident took place on National Highway 49 near Budhipadar Chowk between Jharsuguda and Belpahar.
The car was going from Belpahar towards Jharsuguda.
Police officials of Jharsuguda Sadar police station reached the spot and took the passengers rescued by the local people to the hospital where they are undergoing treatment.
