In a rare but striking scene, a Jacksonville Sheriff's Office officer, Sgt. Ben Rhoden, and his mounted partner, Ace, made a dramatic arrest outside a GATE gas station in Riverside. Bodycam footage captures the moment Rhoden approached a man suspected of stealing items, calmly instructing him to step closer to the horse for handcuffing.

As Rhoden dismounted to complete the arrest, an off-duty corrections officer stepped in, taking the reins of Ace to assist. The incident highlights that whether on four wheels or four hooves, justice in Jacksonville is never far behind.
