Police arrested a Thai man for allegedly making and posting child pornography on his OnlyFans account.

Nareerat, 28, reportedly had sex with teenagers under 18 and posted the videos on OnlyFans to earn money.

Police raided his condo in Bangkok and detained him on October 31 after the Metropolitan Police Bureau's (MPB) Children and Women Protection Sub-Division flagged a large amount of child pornography being uploaded to his X account.

Police Lieutenant Colonel Sunthorn Thongpongniam of the MPB Investigation Sub-Division said: 'It was found that the phone number used to register the account belonged to Nareerat. When we collected various evidence, there was probable cause to believe that he had been producing, possessing, and uploading pornography to a computer system accessible to the general public on social media.'

Nareerat's OnlyFans page reportedly had 236 followers. Authorities said there were 191 videos of her having sex with various individuals.

During the raid, officers seized an iPhone 13 Pro Max and an iPad Air 2, both of which contained many adult and child pornography videos and images.

Nareerat allegedly confessed to owning the OnlyFans account. He said he had downloaded the child porn on his gadgets 'to satisfy his needs'.

He said: 'I have been on OnlyFans since 2019. I do it to earn money. I am paid 7-11 US dollars per subscriber.'

Police said he has earned some 5.4 million THB (123,430 GBP) from OnlyFans to date.

Nareerat was charged with distributing, trading, and helping disseminate obscene material to the public. She also reportedly violated the Computer Act for uploading child porn, and Section 287/1 of the Thai Criminal Code for possessing child porn for one's own pleasure.

Police Major General Theeradej Thamsuthee, commander of the MPB's Crime Suppression Division, said: 'We would like to warn that porn creators that sharing their pornographic videos or pictures on websites or applications, including secret groups for subscriptions, is against the law.'

He added that those found guilty of importing, producing, or distributing pornography for commercial purposes may face a sentence of up to three years, a fine of up to 60,000 baht (1,371 GBP), or both.

While possession of child pornography may be punished with up to five years in prison, a fine of up to 100,000 baht (2,285 GBP), or both.
