Tourist drags beached shark back to sea
This is the heartwarming a tourist dragged a beached shark back to the sea.
Arum Darmawan spotted the man towing the stranded sea creature from the shore in Lombok, Indonesia, on September 29.
Footage shows the holidaymaker carefully hauling the predatory fish into the water, allowing it to swim back to the ocean.
The filmer said: 'There were two men from the city of Bandung who were on vacation to Gili Trawangan Island. They saw the shark and decided to help it.'
Researchers believe that there are various reasons why sharks can wash up on shore, such as changes in tides and sandbars that confuse sharks in shallow waters, chasing prey that leads them to become stranded, or other environmental stresses.
