Laos: "Peace Train-2024" China-Laos humanitarian medical rescue drill starts
Vientiane, Laos - November 16, 2024 The "Peace Train-2024" China-Laos humanitarian medical rescue exercise began on Saturday in Vientiane, the capital of Laos. This fifth joint drill between the two countries' militaries aims to strengthen their joint medical and logistical command and rescue capabilities while deepening practical cooperation and exchanges. The launching ceremony started at 9:00 local time with the national anthems of both countries, followed by the commanders of China and Laos announcing the official start of the joint exercise.
