Mystery dog leads lost hikers to summit of mountain
This is the amusing moment a mystery dog led lost hikers to the summit of a mountain.
The holidaymakers were visiting Yubeng Waterfall when they could not find their way in Diqing Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture, Yunnan, on October 11.
Footage shows the white pooch walking up the stairs, surrounded by colourful lowered bandannas, leading the way to their destination.
The canine even waited for them to climb the steps, staring at them. They passed through the forest and the meadow to reach the summit.
The filmer said: 'The adorable dog suddenly emerged out of nowhere, and we were relieved because we were a bit lost. It was an amazing tour guide.'
The same month, another tourist encountered the pooch, which also helped him during his hike, leading him to the waterfalls.
Scientists suggest that dogs can be as smart as a two-year-old child.
Yubeng Waterfall is a famous scenic spot with beautiful mountain views and waterfalls. It is also called the 'Sacred Waterfall' because the water pours onto a large, dangling stone created by melting snow.
