Kind motorists formed a human chain to help retrieve a motorcycle that crashed and plunged into a roadside ditch.

The Good Samaritans pulled over to lend a hand when they saw a motorcycle rider slide down the curved road in Rizal, the Philippines, on January 5.

Footage shows dozens of men lined up on the ridge and linking their arms for the DIY rescue operation.

The motorbike rider who fell, with the help of others, slowly carried the fallen Yamaha Aerox upwards until it reached the road.

One of the motorists Yonan said: 'I was photographing the big bikes when an Aerox overshot on the curved part of the road called Devil's Corner.'

Yonan added the Aerox rider flipped over and fell off the motorcycle before the two-wheeler plunged down the ditch.

He said: 'We all helped to retrieve his motorbike. He was injured but could still stand.'
