Cheeky duck steals fried chicken from couple's picnic
A cheeky duck gatecrashed a couple's picnic by a lake- and stole their fried chicken.
The bird waddled around the blanket eyeing food, before snatching the glazed deep-fried drumstick off the container in Franz Josef, New Zealand.
Footage shows the swift duck sniffing around the couple and swiftly taking some of Isaac and Shavonne's food. Isaac tried to stop it but the duck was defiant to steal a chicken.
It then made an escape to the grassy part of the banks while other birds flocked in the area after the duck's successful looting during the incident on January 5.
The frantic girlfriend can be heard saying in the video during the chaos: 'Oh my God, oh my God, oh my God. They're all gonna come for our food.'
Isaac added: 'We were robbed while we were trying to have a nice picnic. The duck was quite cute while waddling away though.'
