This is the shocking moment a tourist allegedly attacked a transgender sex worker in Thailand.

Thai ladyboy Nan Arita was talking to another backpacker when the suspect reportedly insulted her in 'Sin City' Pattaya City early morning on January 6.

Nan said she hounded the foreigner to demand an apology but he swung around and punched her in the face.

CCTV footage shows her stumbling to the ground as the tourist allegedly assaulted her. Another clip shows the man ordering a female tourist to beat Nan, before walking away and calling her a 'f***** dog'.

The incident left Nan with scrapes and bruises on her jaw, elbow, arm, and knee.

She said: 'He embarrassed me when he insulted me in public, so I cursed at him in anger. He kept pretending to attack me, then laughed at me when I tried to defend myself.

'I started following him because I wanted an apology, but instead he asked the female tourist to hurt me. She refused.

'I kept tailing him until we reached the toilet stalls. That's where he suddenly punched me.'

Nan said she has filed a report with the police.

Police Major Wutthinan Kongdee of the Pattaya City Police Station said: ‘We could not track down the foreign suspect because we do not have any information, including his name or nationality. Currently, the complainant has only filed a report. We are waiting for her to submit a medical report of her injuries as evidence.'

The disturbing incident is the latest issue with tourists in the bustling coastal city, where round-the-clock sex workers cater to holidaymakers.

In December, a furious American tourist allegedly attacked a Thai ladyboy for causing too much noise while she had sex with customers.

The muscular holidaymaker, not identified in reports, shoved Mimmi Chai to the floor for allegedly having raucous intercourse with her clients, also in Pattaya, on December 23.

The much taller but thinner transgender woman was sent flying and curled up on the ground wailing in pain. She was taken to a hospital to be treated for bruises.
