This is the shocking moment a delivery rider was clotheslined by a lorry's tail lift - but nobody went to help him.

The food rider was manoeuvering down the narrow motorway late in the evening when he collided with the truck's hydraulic tail plate in Guangdong, China, on January 7.

CCTV footage shows the victim falling to the ground along with his vehicle, with food items inside his cargo box scattered everywhere.

Upon seeing this, bystanders stood up and checked what happened, seemingly baffled by the accident. The man can be seen growling in pain, with his hand on his chest, while onlookers stood around him.

However, even his own colleagues in green tops shrugged their shoulders and turned away.

The victim reportedly sustained cuts to his chin, prompting doctors to administer three stitches to the injury. He returned to work the next day.
