CCTV footage shows the driver tailgating a white car in India on September 9.
As he attempted to overtake the vehicle and swerved into the opposite lane, an oncoming car appeared, resulting in a head-on crash with the scooter.
The quick-thinking rider managed to leap away at the last moment, escaping the high-impact incident with minimal injuries.
