Harris Ave. and Rosecrans Ave, Compton VICTIM(S): Male Adult SUSPECT(S): Unknown UNIT: Homicide Bureau – Lieutenant De Steven Jong NARRATIVE: Los Angeles County Sheriff's Homicide Investigators are responding to a shooting death investigation. The incident was reported Tuesday, January 29, 2025 at approximately 10:26 PM, at S. Harris Ave. and Rosecrans Ave., in the city of Compton. The victim was pronounced deceased at the scene. The investigation is ongoing and there is no additional information available at this time. Anyone with information about this incident is encouraged to contact the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department's Homicide Bureau at (323) 890-5500.
