This is the moment a couple riding an e-bike who were fleeing police crashed into a wall.

Officers began chasing Natalia Burke, 21, when she allegedly attempted to evade a marked police motorcycle with her pillion passenger.

She is seen in the video driving recklessly along Spa Road and Coronation Road in Melksham, on July 9.

Footage shows the pair crashing into a garden wall during the police chase after swerving onto the wrong side of Milton Avenue. They reportedly fled on foot after falling to the ground.

At Salisbury Magistrates' Court on January 15, Burke pleaded guilty to six charges, including failing to stop for police, driving without a licence, and using a motor vehicle without insurance.

She was handed a 12-month community order, ordered to complete 80 hours of unpaid work, and disqualified from driving for four months.

PC Hobbs from Wiltshire's Roads Policing Unit said: 'Burke's manner of driving was incredibly careless, and it's a matter of luck that no one was injured.'

Additionally, the bike she was riding did not meet legal regulations for e-bikes, classifying it as an illegal electrically powered moped.
