Ormond Beach, United States - February 06, 2025 A 13-year-old student has been arrested for the second time in months after allegedly making a school shooting threat, according to the Volusia Sheriff’s Office. Kamden Taylor, first arrested in September for an online threat made from his PlayStation, was taken into custody again after Volusia County Schools’ Gaggle system detected another direct threat on his school-issued laptop at Riverview Learning Center in Ormond Beach. Taylor faces a felony charge of making a written threat to commit a mass shooting. His first arrest came after the Volusia County Sheriff’s Office received a tip about an online threat traced to his PlayStation. Investigators reviewed the evidence, interviewed Taylor, and charged him with making written threats to kill.
