Brussels, Belgium - February 13, 2025 An exhibition of artworks themed on the Chinese Year of the Snake opened Thursday in Brussels, Belgium, offering locals a glimpse into the rich traditions of Chinese zodiac culture. The event was attended by nearly 100 guests, including Chinese Ambassador to Belgium Fei Shengchao, CEO of Visit.Brussels Patrick Bontinck, diplomats from various countries, and Chinese and Belgian artists. Ambassador Fei emphasized that the zodiac culture is an important part of Chinese New Year traditions. This year, for the first time, a light sculpture show was staged in Brussels to show the unique charm of the Chinese zodiac and immerse the spectators in the festive atmosphere of the Spring Festival. Guests enjoyed a splendid display of snake-themed light sculptures, each with its own distinct artistic style.
