At around 6 pm on 13th February, a lorry was seen travelling along the Lianhuo Expressway in Hami, Xinjiang, with two cargo containers bizarrely attached side by side to its rear, occupying two entire lanes.

According to eyewitness Mr Ma, the unusual sight caused major disruption, preventing other vehicles from overtaking and leading to a traffic queue stretching over a kilometre. Many drivers were forced to switch lanes frequently and slow down to avoid the lorry, creating hazardous conditions on the motorway. Shocked and concerned by the situation, Mr Ma immediately reported the incident to the authorities.

Local traffic police in Hami have since launched an investigation into the matter.
