The U.S. Marines reinforced border wall security in California as President Donald Trump maintained his tough stance on illegal immigration.

Footage shows authorities from the 7th Engineer Support Battalion, 1st Marine Logistics Group, deploying concertina wire along the southern border wall near San Ysidro on February 13.

This effort, in collaboration with U.S. Northern Command and the Department of Homeland Security, seeks to strengthen security and reduce illegal border crossings by adding additional physical barriers.

Trump, known for his hardline nationalist and anti-immigrant rhetoric, has promised a sweeping crackdown on undocumented and illegal immigrants in the country.

On his first day of office, he declared a 'national emergency' at the southern border with Mexico.

He has also issued a memo telling the U.S. Agency for International Development to adopt an 'America First' policy, threatening sanctions on staff who refuse to obey.

Dozens of deportation flights have also taken off, sending illegals back to their homeland in handcuffs.
