A content creator died after he suffered a fracture from an allegedly fake chiropractor.

Leobert Mangubat Yurong visited the alleged quack doctor's makeshift clinic at the living room of a home where the bungled session happened in Misamis Oriental province, the Philippines last November.

Footage shows Leobert, who used to make videos about cockfighting, screaming in pain when the chiropractor pulled his leg.

He was hospitalised with a severe fracture on his leg that needed surgery including bone replacement.

Leobert was taken in and out of the hospital but died two months later on January 20 due to complications.

Footage shows Leobert in one of his last videos in the hospital, pleading to followers for help with ballooning medical bills.

He said: 'Good afternoon everyone. I need help guys. I need to gather 173,000 PHP (2,381.34 GBP) for my treatment.'

His sister Nancy Taping said after his death: 'He wanted to have his bone aligned to help with his back pain that was why he went to the chiropractor.

'We did not know he was a fake. He only found him on social media. After the session, he could not move from pain. We feel so angry and sad. He did not deserve what happened to him.'

Nancy added the quack doctor initially promised to pay for the medical bills but disappeared.

She added: 'He died at the hospital. We are still trying to gather funds to pay for his medical bills and the funeral. We do not know where to start.'

Chiropractic treatment involves spinal adjustments, manual therapy, and posture correction to relieve pain, improve mobility, and enhance overall well-being.

Chiropractors often treat conditions like back pain, neck pain, headaches, and joint problems without surgery or medication.
