A woman who spent two hours frantically searching for her brand-new lip contour was stunned when she finally found it—stuck to the bottom of her shoe.

Maggie Ching, 24, noticed that her Rhode lip contour was missing after a trip to an eyelash salon in Vancouver, Canada.

Determined not to lose her £31 ($40) lip balm she retraced her steps and checked her car, house and even the salon, driving nearly two hours between downtown Vancouver and her home.

But just as she was about to give up, she checked the bottom of her shoes inside a grocery store and screamed when she saw her missing lip balm stuck underneath.

Maggie, a full-time dietitian student from Vancouver, Canada, said: "I have this weird phobia of stepping in poo so I always check the bottom of my shoes. "

"I screamed and burst out laughing in the middle of the store when I saw it stuck under my shoe. "

"I was so sad because I had literally just bought it. "

"I was driving all over the place and the whole time it was right under me literally!"

"There was no way I was losing a $40 lip product on the second day!"
