A bungling car wash worker sprayed water inside the vehicle on his first day at work.

The employee was still learning the ropes when he was spotted drenching the interior of a green hatchback four-wheeler.

Footage captured by Chitpol on February 24 shows the staff member spraying water onto the passenger seats, the floor, and even the steering wheel.

The car wash owner said the worker had since been 'educated' on how to clean interiors at the PT Gas Station in Nakhon Ratchasima, Thailand.

He: 'We had to disassemble the interior of the car to dry everything out. We will ensure that this incident does not happen again.

'The worker in question has been educated. We just assumed he knew how to clean interiors.'

Washing a car's interior and wetting the steering wheel and other components could lead to potential issues such as damage to electronics, mold growth, rust, slippery surfaces, and upholstery damage, especially if not properly dried afterwards.
