Bungling worker accidentally crashes car through office glass front
This is the shocking moment a bungling worker accidentally crashed a car into the glass shopfront of an office in Thailand.
The driver, Thanakorn Sae Hia, 65, said that his employer ordered him to move a car blocking another vehicle in Khon Kaen Province on Tuesday, March 11.
He then drove forward and swerved to let the van pass.
Thanakorn said: 'When I stepped on the accelerator to move the car and park, I didn't press it hard.
'The car swerved into the office, which was very shocking because I have never had an accident in my 30-40 years of driving history.
'When I drove in, I saw the owner of the shop jump out from his desk, which shocked me a lot. When I came to my senses, I put the car in neutral and turned off the engine.'
Footage shows a green sedan heading straight towards the glass panel, ramming into the office while a startled man sitting at his desk quickly stands up.
The shop's owner later said the impact was on the glass windows and a television set, with the floor slightly affected.
The cost of the damage is estimated at around 60,000 baht (1,372 GBP).
Authorities said the driver and people in the office were all unharmed.
