A jilted ex-girlfriend was arrested for allegedly attacking a neighbour's car instead of her former lover's vehicle.

Evelina Fabianski, 18, was detained on February 26 in Deltona, Florida, after being accused of spray-painting an automobile.

Deputies responded to a vandalism call and found two suspects nearby, Fabianski and her friend, 16, at the scene.

The older girl allegedly had yellow spray paint on her sweatpants and admitted being upset with her ex-boyfriend, who she claimed owed her 700 USD. She and her friend had planned to vandalise and throw eggs at his car.

However, the vehicle they attacked belonged to her neighbour's ex.

Dramatic footage shows the suspects caught by police, with the vehicle visibly spray-painted.

Fabianski was charged with criminal mischief and contributing to the delinquency of a minor.

Officers later found Fabianski driving with two open Four Loko cans, leading to charges of possession of alcohol under 21 and driving under the influence.

Authorities also discovered over 20 grams of marijuana in the younger suspect's bag, resulting in a charge of possession.

The unfortunate neighbour estimated the damage to his car to be 5,500 USD.
