This is the impressive moment the U.S. Engineer Battalion demonstrated how their temporary river bridges are laid.

Soldiers from the 809th Multi-Role Bridge Company, 15th Engineer Battalion, and 7th Engineer Brigade conducted a bridge-building training exercise at the Danube River near Muenchsmuenster, Germany, on March 3.

The troops, based in Grafenwoehr, showcased their skills in a remarkable display of engineering expertise.

The 809th MRBC is the only permanently assigned Multi-Role Bridge Company within the U.S. Army in Europe and Africa.

They provide the personnel and equipment necessary to transport, assemble, disassemble, retrieve, and maintain all U.S. Army bridging systems.
