Furious motorcyclist kicks car's wing mirror 'after being cut off'
This is the shocking moment a furious motorist kicked a car's wing mirror in Thailand.
Footage shows the motorcycle rider in a red shirt slamming his foot into the side mirror while driving along Rama IX Road in the capital Bangkok, on March 2.
The car owner, Worawat, said the rider was angry at her over an alleged cutting incident.
She said: ‘Initially, at the intersection, the rider stopped next to us and accused us of cutting in front of him. We told him we were just changing lanes while he was still far behind us.
‘However, he screamed and insulted at us. We didn't respond because we wanted to avoid a road rage argument. After a while, he probably got angry that we were ignoring him, and he kicked the side mirror on the driver's side.
‘We passed by him again and he kept honking the horn and shouting at us from behind. I was so fed up with him that I finally lowered the window to confront him.
‘Then, as we were making a U-turn, the rider took kicked the window on the passenger side.'
Worawat is now seeking help to track down the rider, whose two-wheeler reportedly did not have a license plate.
Road rage incidents are common in Thailand, which has one of the world's worst road safety records due to chronic underinvestment in its highways and education.
In January, Seree Srettheenamwong, 31, reportedly slammed his car into food delivery man Ritthisak Prakuptanont, 49, killing him when he slammed into an electric pole along Sukhumvit Road in Bangkok.
The two reportedly quarrelled after Seree allegedly bumped into Ritthisak's motorcycle. Seree faces charges of premeditated murder and reckless driving causing death.
