US, Los Angeles: Pacoima Pedestrian Fatally Struck By Hit-And-Run Driver

Los Angeles, United States - October 20, 2025 10/19/2025 10:00 pm GMT-0700 PACOIMA, LOS ANGELES, Calif. – An investigation is underway after a pedestrian was struck and killed by a vehicle Sunday night in the 13200 block of West Van Nuys Boulevard. Los Angeles Fire Department responded to the scene around 10 p.m. where the pedestrian died at the scene. Witnesses told Key News that the driver fled after the collision. Initial reports indicated that the suspect vehicle was a white Chevrolet Silverado pickup truck, model years 2015 to 2020, last seen heading northbound on Sutter Avenue from Van Nuys Boulevard. LAPD officers were on scene conducting an investigation. The victim has not been identified.
